Information Manager is a tool intended for helping organizations and individual manage important information. Its primary purpose is to enable pieces of information to be entered once into the system, then managed within the system and exported out of the system as needed. With the right level of granularity, pieces of information can be combined to form documents or reports.
Users of Information Manager will be able to add and manage information within a graphical user interface (GUI) application. It will be possible to categorize information e.g. according to keywords, information type, or by relationships between pieces of information. Search functionality will allow pieces of information matching certain properties to be retrieved, then exported according to user-defined templates into documents.
